The IR-EYE External Infrared Remote Control Receiver from Smart-AVI is an IR receiver which receives infrared signals from your remote control and sends them to your media center device by way of an infrared extender (sold separately); this allows you to place your media center device in a centralized location which is not in the line-of sight of your display. The IR-EYE is designed to work in combination with the IR-LED transmitter (sold separately); the IR-LED inputs the wired signal from the infrared extender and transmits it via IR to your media center device. The receiver can be used with audio visual equipment, home appliances, infrared remote control toys, industrial control devices, CATV set top boxes, optical switches, and more.
