No, this will not fill you MK2. I just got this not realizing I got the wrong part. What you need is the Shape RHV2. Will be exchanging mine.

I have just purchased a FS 5 and this handle extension. Do I also need an extension cable as well? if so, what cable do i Need to order? Thanks.
The extension arm for the FS7 will not fit the FS5 because it's missing the part to fix the handle on the arm. SHAPE is currently developing a handle specially designed for the FS5 handle as it's slightly different from the FS7. And yes, you will need an extension cable that will be available to purchase.

just by an inch or 2, but much nicer than the original Sony version.
