This strong case has a molded-in hinge and a polypropylene copolymer resin shell with a cubed foam interior. In addition, the case meets Mil Spec MIL-STD-810F for resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage. For air travel, the case passes MIL-STD-648C and has an ambient pressure equalization valve. The trigger release latches offer a secure closure and have padlock holes for installing an optional, user-supplied lock. For comfort the case is carried with a large, snap-down rubber over-molded cushioned grip handle.
