    Sony SRS-X11 Reviews

SRS-X11 Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Blue) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound, small package The X-11s are humorously small but sound surprisingly good. That said, sound quality dramatically improves when paired with another X11 (via Bluetooth). Buying two speakers may make it less economical compared with other portable speakers, but the sound quality is excellent and I would recommend doing so. The build quality is excellent as well, in keeping with the best Sony makes. On the plus side, this speaker uses the standard micro-USB cable for charging (minimizing the need for yet another cable or charger) and allows you to use an accessory battery block to extend portable playing time. Unfortunately Sony does not include a charging block and the wrist strap seems unnecessary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good, maybe overpriced I needed a little portable bluetooth speaker for work. I tried an IHome one from a local store for half the price of this, the sound was horrible and wasn't loud enough. A friend has the rugged Jam speaker and it's loud, louder than this speaker but it seems mostly highs and not much else. This sony has fuller sound but not as high highs and not as loud but louder than the ihome and loud enough for my needs. It is also more than twice the price of the Jam. I feel that this speaker is overpriced. It's definitely not worth more than twice the price of the Jam. If it was a bit cheaper then I would have been happier. I am keeping it because it's not worth paying to ship it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An upgrade for phone or computer built-in speakers I got a pair of these little speakers for some background music while I'm cooking or doing chores. They can certainly fill a room with sound! I'm happy with the sonic capability of this sound system. Some thought went into the design to represent bass and low-mid freqs (as much as could be possible with a speaker this size). The SRS-X11 make for a great upgrade from listening to music through a phone or computer's built-ins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome little sound cube = I bought this speaker to use for music on shoots and for small outings. What I love about this speaker is the design. It's an awesome little box of fairly good music sound & quality. I definitely use Bose mostly for audio, but this is perfect for photoshoots because of how compact it is, plus the loop that lets you hang it somewhere like on a doorknob, bag, carabiner, C-stand knob, etc. It has very decent volume and bass as well. For portability, this wins for me. =

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sony Cubism Art ! Are these displacing high def. speakers .....absolutely not. Do they play load and allow you to headbang with deep bass.....are you mad. Do they have a wide frequency range.....maybe a touch more than your smartphone. Well then what does a pair of these do?? They disappear and add the clear clean but limited range space fill that background music in a non-demanding real-world setting often requires. Look these are inexpensive absolutely unobtrusive little powered speakers that work like a charm. I use this outdoors driven by either my smartphone, tablet or nearby computer via BT. These absolutely work projecting that stereo separation with all the limits listed above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT DESIGN When I saw The Sony SRS-X11 Bluetooth Speaker on the B&H daily list I couldnt have jumped out of bed faster to rush to see how many I could get at the going sales rate.  By the time I got there I was told they were sold out and after a bit of back and forth I was able to order one, which I was happy to pick up within a couple days. Super compact design with room-filling sound, it conforms to your device instantly and so long as you dont use it as a toss-ball, those soft corners are designed to prevent chips/breaks.  I cant wait to buy another as soon as B&H gets them in stock. Thanks again B&H.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very compact and easy to use --- worth the money Product arrived just in time and it was very easy to use. No need to be a rocket scientist to use. It is very compact and is just enough to use it in my car. My car didn't have blue tooth to play audio, since it is old model. This is a perfect fit and I can just hang it to the rear view mirror with the lane yard. I like this very much. I would recommend buying this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little speaker. Not as great as some others. I bought a bunch of these and the Sony XB10s for party gifts. This one is fine as a speaker and has the added benefit of being a speaker when you are on your phone. The XB10 is a better speaker, but does not have the phone feature. I bought them both on sale and they were about the same price so you need to try them both to see which one works for you. Either way: it's a Sony. How bad can it be?
