The BA 30 from Sennheiser is a rechargeable battery pack for the evolution wireless SK D1 or AVX Bodypack Transmitter (sold separately). It can be used to replace the two AA size batteries that power the transmitter-unit. The BA 30 uses a lithium-ion 3.7V rechargeable battery.

Original battery. Great capacity and works as it should.
This battery will last a very long time, possibly could last up to 15 hours! I would at least have 2 of these per lavalier set and you will be good to go for 3 days or so depending on your production.
I bought this to have a back up Battery for my Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 SET Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (1.9 GHz). It is the battery with the pink label on it in the photo. I have not had to use it as of yet, because the one that came in the package has worked great so far, but this extra battery is for long days shooting.
I am extremely happy with my Sennheiser wireless system. The only issue is battery life. If you have money to replace two AA batteries every five hours, go for it. Otherwise this battery pack is a must have. It charges slowly but lasts at least eight hours.
These are expensive yes, but they do the job. Never had problem with them being ready when needed.
It works!
Always nice to have a spare or two.
