BEWARE: Does not charge the AVX-ME2 receiver battery BA20

I bought this to more conveniently charge our AVX-ME2 systems, so imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find out that it does not charge the receiver's BA20 battery, only the transmitter pack. What's the point then, Sennheiser?? I will be returning this half useless hunk of plastic

Pretty good charger

First, without the wireless handheld attached, a BA10 battery pack won't reliably remain seated. So, unless you have two transmitters an extra bay is useless. Secondly, $199 for a charger is a pretty big ask. These things said, the unit charges the transmitter battery in a timely/efficient manner and appears to be well built. If this is a worthwhile expenditure for your situation will ultimately depend on how you intend to use your device(s).

question

How long does it take to charge the BA 30 / BA 20 batteries? The USB charging of those batteries takes an extraordinarily long time (4 hours from empty), so I'm wondering if this charger makes it notably quicker.
Asked by: Lance
This tabletop charger will charge a pair of the BA 30/BA 10 Battery Packs at 20 C to100 % in approximately 160 minutes (green led)
