The Audio-Technica ATW-1322 System 10 PRO is a dual-channel digital wireless handheld microphone system featuring a half-rack ATW-RC13 receiver chassis equipped with two ATW-RU13 receiver units. It is well suited for rackmounting in portable flight cases or for permanent installations in educational facilities, conference rooms, small to mid-sized venues, and houses of worship as well as broadcast studios.

The easy-to-use system comes preconfigured at the factory, ready to operate right out of the box with no setup required. Automatic frequency selection and three levels of diversity reception provide seamless, reliable performance with clear digital audio for presenters, lecturers, clergy, and performers.

The ATW-1322 includes two handheld transmitters with an integrated hypercardioid microphone capsules. The transmitters provide up to 7 hours of continuous use with two AA batteries, at a maximum range of 200'. Up to 10 mic channels can operate simultaneously in the same space.

The receiver units can be removed from the chassis and mounted remotely (up to 328' away, connected via an Ethernet cable), for more reliable reception. Up to five chassis can be linked using RJ12 cables, creating a stable environment in which up to 10 receiver units working together, with all receiving, transmitting, and with frequency allocation coordinated to prevent audio dropouts.

Clear Speech with Digital Audio and Two Handheld Hypercardioid Mics
  • The System 10 PRO offers full-bandwidth, 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio with none of the audio artifacts associated with analog companding.
  • Each of the two rugged handheld transmitters features an integrated dynamic microphone capsule that delivers a natural sound optimized for speech intelligibility.
  • The mic's hypercardioid polar pattern tightly focuses audio capture on the subject directly in front of the mic, minimizing background noise and feedback.
Easy to Set Up, Easy to Operate
Automatic Frequency Selection
  • Just power up the components, and the receiver automatically seeks out a clean frequency and pairs up with the transmitter, saving you the hassle of scanning and syncing.
  • While in use, the system continually monitors activity in the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi range and automatically switches to a clean frequency to avoid interference if necessary.

Rugged Receiver Chassis

  • The durable half-rack receiver chassis houses both receiver units and can be mounted alone using the included mounting brackets and screws. Two chassis can be mounted side-by-side using the included joining plate, allowing four wireless mic channels to occupy a single 19" rackspace for a compact multichannel installation.
  • The chassis' front-panel display provides visual status information including RF signal level and the transmitter's battery life, along with a 3-color audio-level LED and a Pair LED.
  • A System ID number display indicates which transmitter is associated with a given receiver.
  • Rear-panel connections include balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output connections as well as output level controls and ground-lift switchs to help eliminate audible hum caused by ground loops.

Two Versatile Receiver Units

  • Each receiver unit features two removable antennas.
  • A 1/4"-20 thread allows for mounting each unit to a bracket, stand, and other fixture. The units can also be permanently wall mounted using the included receiver unit holders.

Two Lightweight Handheld Transmitters

  • The transmitters are housed in lightweight, plastic chassis.
  • An internal input trim control can be set—using the included screwdriver—to match the volume of your speaker or vocalist for distortion-free input.
  • With just a quick press, the power switch on the transmitter doubles as a mute function. This function can be locked out to prevent an accident.

Pairing Multiple Transmitters

  • Up to 10 transmitters can be paired with a receiver ahead of time. This is useful in situations when you have multiple speakers, one after another, and you need to have them miked up and ready to go. All you'll have to do is turn one transmitter off and the next one on.
Three Levels of Diversity Assurance to Avoid Dropouts
Triple Diversity Reception Maximizes Wireless Signal Integrity

  • Space Diversity: The receiver compares the signal showing up at its two antennas and chooses the strongest one.
  • Time Diversity: The transmitter sends the digital signal in two imperceptibly different time slots and compares the two.
  • Frequency Diversity: The digital audio is sent over two different frequencies at the same time and the system chooses the cleaner one.

For optimal performance, users are encouraged to maintain as direct a line of sight as possible between the transmitter and receiver.

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Band

  • Unlike traditional analog wireless systems, the System 10 PRO operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, away from interruptions and dropouts caused by TV and radio channel interference.
Add Functionality to Your System
Presenters

  • Audio-Technica offers the ATW-T1001 bodypack transmitter with a variety of lavalier and headset microphone options to adapt your System 10 PRO as your needs evolve.
  • The MT830cW lavalier mic allows for hands-free presentations and features an omnidirectional polar pattern for consistent pickup even when the talent turns away from the mic.
  • The AT831cW mini cardioid lavalier mic offers a narrower, feedback-resistant pickup pattern for louder events.
  • The discrete PRO-92cW earset mic provides improved clarity in spoken word applications.

Guitarists

  • The AT-GcW guitar cable lets you connect an ATW-T1001 bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.

Video Conferencing

  • The ATW-T1006 boundary transmitter/mic is designed for tabletop use, ideal for applications such as video-conferencing where minimum visibility is required.

Conferences/Boardrooms

  • The ATW-T1007 base transmitter can be used with a gooseneck mic on a table for situations where wired mics are impractical.

After spend sometime study on this AT series, I met great manufacture representatives at 2016 AES in LA ... they are PRO!; I got all informations from techinical, installation till functionality for different variety capsules this system can run with. I finally pick up from MuzeekWorld and installed 10 units on 2 HH, 2 Bounderies, 3 Choir, 3 shoot gun. During the installation Tech support been contacted twice > fast and prompt response, they show their eagerness to help!! thanks team. Now after about 8 months they are on duty daily at a medium size Catholic church in San Francisco

just got a 1322 system 10 pro just in time for last Fridays gig , setup is super easy and works just like the system 10 stomp boxes my band uses for guitar bass mandolin and banjo and does not bother the older Freeway system we already have . (ya we are your poster children) opened the box when I got to the venue and plugged everything in , put batteries in the in the mic's selected two unused system id numbers and we were ready for sound check . we did wind up backing off the gain inside the mic's because they were a little hot to begin with and we couldn't get any head room on the board . so during our first set break we opened up the mic's and turned them down with the provided plastic screwdriver (A. T. thought of everything) and proceeded to have a flawless weekend . I highly recommend the system 10 pro 1322 and will soon be upgrading the two freeway mic's (4 years old , nearly 200 dates and still working great) to another one of these .

Couldn't wait for this product

We got two sets of rack mount receivers, plus a on camera receiver, so 5 receivers in total. We got two handheld and two lavalier mics with transmitters, plus a headset mic for one of the transmitters. The two rack mount unit connects together to a perfect 1U unit. The user-friendlyness of this system is fantastic. No channel choice, just plug and play. You pair each transmitter and receiver like it was a wireless keyboard. If you only buy on system, they are paired out of the box. The power button doubles as mute button and keeps the RF alive, but mutes the sound, giving the user the ability to control the sound, without worrying the sound guy if the unit is on and working. The on-camera receiver, both outputs balanced and un-balanced signal, allowing us to use it both on our Sony A7s and on our Sony PXW-Z100, without conversion cables. The on-camera receiver is also rechargeable via standard USB cable. Best of all, and most importantly: Sound is spot on!

The mics started out great. Gigged a few gigs with them no problems. Then I upgraded to speakers that can be tweeked with bluetooth via ios app. This is where the problems begin. Seems these mics dont play nice when you have cellphones with in 3 feet of the reciever. Drop outs and issues seem to be abundant now it seems every other gig. I will have to see about elevating the ant. Via a mic or photography flash stand. Maybe this might help but far from convenient.

An Good Alternative to the TV Bands!

Full Disclosure - I was given this product for testing and review. First of all, I'm a AV systems designer, installer and company owner. I saw the new system two years ago at Denver AVX and expressed my doubts about it's capabilities to the company rep. Turns out he was the VP of Engineering for AT! He sent me a test unit and I sent him back some real world test data. First of all, I was sure that this would have problems and so I set it up to fail. For my first test, I did not remotely mount the RX units. Also I parked it in a sound booth with an active consumer grade WiFi router/access point. I ran two channels for the entire service multiple times, at a range of 60-80 ft. with a clear line of sight and the RF was rock solid. No dropouts, no problems. I was, quite frankly, amazed. I've lived with this unit now for two years, used it for outdoor events, vacation Bible school at my church, two Christmas productions for drama and backup mics and it has never had an issue. I only have a couple minor complaints. The handheld mic does have some handling noise, so that could be improved and once when I blew a circuit breaker at an outdoor event (hey, it happens) I had to re-sync the handheld to the transmitter before the system would work again. I definitely recommend using rechargeable AA's since they use batteries faster than analog systems. However, this is to be expected considering the amount of active RF management built into these units and the fact that they are constantly encoding and sending dual streams of digital audio. In my book, this system is an excellent alternative for the TV bands! Recommended.

question

Can you run more then 10 units in one location
Asked by: Anonymous
I don't know for sure. Info on the web says no. Audio Technica says only 10. But they don't report what happens above 10 units
