Barndoor for B2 OCF Flash Head is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from could be improved We bought two of these to fit on my Profoto B-1's. The ring that fits over the head is made of hard plastic, has no give and is very tight. It is a real fumble to get them on. One of mine fell 4ft. to a wood floor and the plastic ring shattered before it was installed. Some other kind of ring material would be preferable - anything made of hard plastic is the first to break in a studio. The OCF speed rings for this system are made of rubber and also tight, but have a spring latch fastening and at have enough give to get them over the head without a too much of a struggle. We won't be replacing the one that broke until the design is improved.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to Install I plan on using this product to help control the light coming from my B2 heads. The most difficult thing is installing the barn doors on the head. You have to pry doors on to make them fit. I am worried about breaking it while installing it. One other thing I noticed is you have to install it with the doors at about 45 degrees in order to get it to fit over the umbrella hole in the top of the B2 head. There are small bumps in the inside of the barndoor ring that force you to install it first in a 45 degree orientation. Then after it's installed you have to try and spin the barndoor to get the doors to be on the top and sides. As you spin it the small bumps get stuck in the groove for the umbrella ring. Another place for them to break.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serves its purpose Got my new B1s, dropped extra for the speed rings, octa boxes, strip lights, and grids. But one of the most needed modifiers is something to simply narrow and directionally block some of the light. The simple barn door attachment is the key. My only complaint is that there was still a bit too much light leak around where the hinges are, and where it attaches to the head, otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to Install without Ring for Grids I have tried and tried to install my barndoor modifiers and the ONLY success I've had is to attach it onto the grid holder without the grids. Although the rings look identical, the grid holder must be ever so slightly smaller. If anyone has another solution, please advise. I plan to ask Profoto to redesign and send replacements. I love my B1 system!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A recent update for buyers The barn doors are all metal now (not plastic). I just received two of them. They fit with no problems and being all metal are bombproof. Very solid. Case is nice and padded too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Build Excellent build quality and comes in nice case. Very tight fit on my B2 head but hope it will loosen a bit with use. At least I know it won't fall off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Barndoor for B1 I use the Barndoor in conjunction with the grid and gels. It's easy to use and built well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but.... TIGHT ! Definitely a quality product and compact. My only issue is the fit is so tight that to put it on the flash head without moving the head is a considerable effort. Up side is it will not fall off.
