It works, however even though it is made of steel it is not the most stable platform, owing to the pillar design. The keyboard shelf is particularly weak. It has quite a lot of flex and ought to be re-designed. I like the position and angle of the rack space. As well as inclusion of cage nuts instead of tapped rails. However, it is puzzling that it leaves an entire 1RU of empty space underneath the monitor shelf? I'm going to finagle a way to mount a reverb unit in that gap.
This desk really surprised me! It has a very modern and sleek finish, large desk space on the top, and clutter free design. The only recommendation I have is tighten the biggest screws on the bottom of the base really well. If you dont and put heavy things on the top shelf, it will tilt back a little.
