The Sunwayfoto DP-39R is an Arca-type compatible universal quick release plate featuring a 1/4"-20 camera screw. Constructed from a single piece of CNC-machined aluminum alloy, this plate also incorporates rubber cushioning to protect against scratching and prevent twisting, and a satin anodized finish has also been applied to guard against abrasions and corrosion. The square base mount of the plate permits attaching the plate to a clamp in four different orientations, and a cut-out slot is also featured for fastening a strap to the plate.

Attached this foot with the Spyder strap for easy tripod mount on a mono pod with both Manfroto head and Sunwayfoto foot but it tends to twist easily due to the slick Teflon type strap of the Spyder strap. The Manfrotto foot has a wider foam footprint which keeps it in place, but the Samwayfoto rubber footprint is too small to make contact with the camera bottom. But is works, just have to make sure not to twist it. It will work better with a different strap that attaches to the plate itself.

Well machined & finished, and at the right price, this is an Arca-Swiss compatible plate that is both small and, importantly, includes a slot to attach a hand- or neck-strap.
