This thing is great for setting up microphones or cobbling together some sort of Frankenstein rig. It's Arca compatible from both the top and the bottom, which means it carries some heft, but weight is a worthy sacrifice for how cost-effective, sturdy and versatile it is.
Not quite using it for macro

Not quite using it for a macro rail's main purpose, but it works in my use case as a telephoto lens plate, even making it easier to handhold. The double dovetail works to tightly secure my flash bracket, and can be further secured by the provided safety screws (4 of them, two on each side). Furthermore, I can move the lens forward on my gimbal to get a bit closer and it seems to be secure enough to trust with somewhat heavy equipment, wont just slide off since it has those safety pins.

Are all the holes threaded or if not, which ones are not threaded?
There would be a total of (8) 1/4-20" female threads and a single 3/8-16" thread on the DPG-3016R.

What is maximum weight limit on this? Planning to mount a setp upto 6lb total.
Also, can i attach camera directly to the rail?
This can support 6lbs and more. The load limit is more dependent on the head and legs than the actual rail. The DPG 3016R is a solid rail.

Is this something I can use as a macro slider somehow? And would it be great for precise bokehrama-type images?
The Sunwayfoto DPG-3016R Double Dovetail Macro Rail can be applied for macro photography and depending on the lens and settings, it can be used to achieve images with bokeh.

Will this product work with the Kessler Kwik Release system?
Unfortunately, we are not able to test the compatibility of these items. Therefore it is our opinion that since both the Sunwayfoto DPG-3016R and the Kessler Kwik Release system are Arca-Swiss compatible they should work together without issue.
