The Sunwayfoto DMP-200R Rail Nodal Slide is an Arca-type and Really Right Stuff lever clamp compatible quick-release rail that is used to accurately find the nodal point of your lens when used in panoramic photography. In close-up photography, the rail allows for easy front-to-back adjustment. It has a laser-engraved scale on both sides of the rail to help accurately adjust the rail and find the nodal point. A strap slot allows for fastening a camera strap for increased comfort and security, and safety stop screws prevent accidental release from the clamp. The rail's hard-anodized finish helps protect it from bumps and scratches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A critical tool for panoramic images I recently came across this hardware for use in generating panoramic images by stitching together multiple shots taken from a tripod. By adjusting the camera position - on this slide - so that the lens is at the nodal point, the images are not distorted at the edges. I set this up with both my 24-105 mm and 70-300 mm Canon lenses; the resulting stitched image showed no distortion at the edges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can not beat this for the money This is a heavy duty rail and worth every penny. The clamp is heavy duty and will easily hold your DSLR camera with battery grip and lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low cost alternative to complete Pano package I use this with my RRS pano head for positioning camera with lens at non-parallax point for multi-shot and multi-row panos. Performs as well as higher-priced brands. Seems like it would be hard to screw up a rail on a CNC machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made Very well made product. Beautiful machining, nice finish, the clamp locks down solid and is very smooth in operation. Based on specs, it is also longer than similarly made (and more expensive) products, which is a plus if you are working with a longer lens. Very satisfied customer.
