Will this work with other brand's shutter releases ? For instance Fujifilm Remote

The Vello 10' Remote Shutter Extension Cable for Canon Sub-Miniature Connection (B&H# VERECC110) is nothing more than a 2.5mm female TRS port (i.e., with three connection points) on one end and a male 2.5mm TRS plug on the other. As an extension cable, it may be used effectively to increase the reach of any cable with a 2.5mm TRS male plug on it that is used for remote camera control, including many that are used with Fujifilm cameras. Having said that, we do not advise using more than a single such extension cord as the signal may not be able to travel through two such extensions without becoming too weak.
