Perfect Mixer for My Needs

I am not a DJ.....not even close. I use the M4 to control the audio of three computers and a FM tuner in my office. Be it audio recording, video/sound editing, online radio, itunes, watching movies, or simply listening to my tuner, the M4 allows me to easily adust and switch audio between the devices. As well, access to channel gain, as well as treble, mid, and base controls allow me to easily adjust output of each device. In the past I have used more expensive mixers by both Behringer and Gemini. The M4 to me is a superior product. The only downside I have with the M4 is the recording gain is a little too weak, requiring a software adjustment in my computer to increase the final gain. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but it is annoying, and why I rate the device at 4 stars instead of 5.

Great mixer choice to get back into DJing

Nice set of mixer features at this price point. 3-Band EQ with -30dB does a good job of killing bass. The channel faders are smooth, seems like they're log faders so you have good control at the top half of the range. The crossfader feels alright, but is somewhat noisy toward the ends of the range using the gradual CF slope. The noise is less apparent with the sharp CF slope. I tend to use the channel faders for mixing, so I can avoid using the gradual CF slope. Overall, I think this mixer is a great value.

Great for the $$ !

This mixer does at as you would expect. Knobs are firm and sturdy. The crossfader feels nice. Even the slightest movements of the 3 band EQ can make nice adjustments.
