Comprehensive USB 3.1 Gen 1 to HDMI with Audio Converter

The USB 3.0 to HDMI with Audio Converter from Comprehensive is a USB 3.0 Type-A adapter that allows you to connect an additional DVI-I or HDMI display to your laptop or desktop without having an extra graphics card. It supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1152 and since HDMI cables support audio signals, this converter supports 5.1 channel surround sound at 48 kHz. In addition to being compatible with USB 3.0, this converter supports mirror and extended display modes, is compatible with widescreen and standard displays, and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. It also supports hot plugging, so monitors may be disconnected from the system without needing to restart.

Please note that each additional display will require its own separate converter. Multiple converters and displays may be used simultaneously, but the exact number depends on the available USB ports, as well as the available USB power supply. Included with this converter is an HDMI to DVI adapter.
