CineMilled CM-203 Overview

The CineMilled Steadicam Arm Post Adapter allows you to attach your Ronin gimbal directly to the arm post of your Steadicam. It adds fourth axis vertical stabilization and takes the weight of the Ronin off your arms. This version is compatible with 7/8" size arm posts. The CineMilled Universal Ronin Quick Plate, sold separately, is required to complete the assembly of this adapter.

The optional Quick Plate is secured on the bottom, and the Ronin attaches to it. The Steadicam arm post installs into the Arm Post Adapter on the opposite end, and the handlebars of the Ronin insert in between the two and allow you to maneuver the Ronin. An included aircraft safety pin further secures the Steadicam arm post in place. You can operate the Ronin like this in standard or inverted low mode.

A major benefit of using your Ronin this way is that you're not tethered in any way, but rather have full floating stabilized movement of the Ronin.

Note:
The CineMilled Universal Ronin Quick Plate, sold separately, is required (Mfr# CM-002).

question

Will this work with the Glide Gear DNA 6000 arm and vest?
Asked by: Casey W.
This combination is unknown but it should work with any 7/8 post. The Glide Gear DNA 6000 is reported to be 7/8 so you should be good.

question

Do you have an estimate on when these units from Cinemilled might be arriving? I'm from Canada, so the pre-ordering process doesn't work as well for me based on shipping prices. Thanks in advance!
Asked by: Philip
Sorry, but we do not have a date of arrival for these units. Hopefully soon.

question

Hi i have an SK steadicam vest and i want to use it with the cinemilled armpost adapter and i want to know wich hole size i have to choose..!?
Asked by: Amine C.
Unfortunately, neither we or CineMilled have heard of the SK Steadicam vest . We therefore ask you contact the manufacturer and then CineMilled with that information so that the proper adapter can be selected.

question

Will this work with the Glidecam x-22?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hello there...The best thing to do would be to phone Cinemilled Customer service and ask them if one of their adaptors would fit the X-22 system; it all comes down to whether or not the X-22 armpost fits the Cinemilled adaptor. I have done a fair bit of research on this for my Glidecam X-10 system and subsequently bought the Cinemilled 7/8 armpost adaptor. The 7/8 adaptor is the recommended (by Cinemilled) hardware for the X-10/DJI Ronin combo. If the armpost for Glidecam arms are all the same then you're good to go with the 7/8 however; since the X-22 supports a heavier payload (10-25lbs) than the X-10 (13lbs), it may very well use a larger post and a different size adaptor. Hey, if the forums have nothing so far the manufacturer would know for sure; all I can say is that once you find the right adaptor, it's a very impressive rig...hope this is helpful!
