The DJI Ronin Quick Plate Universal Mount from CineMilled is a universal plate that allows you to mount your DJI Ronin on a tripod, Steadicam, car mount, cable cam, and pretty much most other support gear. To attach the Quick Plate, remove the handlebar from the Ronin and secure the plate directly to the Ronin. The Quick Plate offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes throughout, allowing for a wide range of mounting flexibility. The threaded holes down the middle are spaced 1" on center for compatibility with standard grip-related cheese plates, such as those used on chase vans.

This product worked great...for one day. It was used on a car mount rig for driving shots and, while it was steady and secure the first day out, by day two the threading on the quick release screw had started to strip. Once this happened, the Ronin with the camera mounted on it was never fully secure. More or less useless when you've got thousands of dollars of gear depending on it working as advertised. Not what I was expecting out of a $ piece of metal. I'd like to give CineMilled the benefit of the doubt and think this was just a defective unit, but to start failing after one day's use really isn't acceptable for professional purposes.

Does everything you would expect. Solidly built. Oozes quality. Not sure if 200 is appropriate price. This could easily be hal the price. I recommend this, but would like to see it go for less.

Great Ronin adapter plate

I've used this product to mount the Ronin onto a large multirotor copter and it worked great. The adapter plate can mount the Ronin on pretty much anything you need. Once the Ronin is attached, you can tell that it is safe and secure. The plate feels like it's made out of high quality material. Simply mount it and you are good to go

Will this work with ronin mx?

This plate is for the larger, original Ronin and may not work with the Ronin MX. The Ronin MX was only just announced at NAB in Las Vegas so all of the compatibility details are not yet known. Please keep an eye on our website for updates and details as they become available.
