  • 1Description

The black Colossal 18,200mAh Dual USB Travel Battery Charger from Wolverine is a portable 7-cell lithium-ion battery that allows you to charge up to two devices simultaneously with its 2.1 and 1A USB ports. In addition to its USB charging ports, this battery pack also has an 8.4V / 1A charging port which accepts 3.5mm plugs. With a capacity of 18,200mAh, this battery pack is compatible with virtually all devices that may be charged via USB. This battery pack is also equipped with a battery status display that helps monitor its remaining battery level.

This battery pack requires a USB power outlet to recharge and the device receives power via a micro-USB input. When the battery pack is fully drained, recharging takes up to 10-11 hours. Included with this battery pack is USB cable which has an adapter on one end. This adapter allows the included Apple 30-pin adapter, Apple Lightning adapter, micro-USB adapter, and mini-USB adapter to be connected to the USB cable, from which point it may be used to charge your device. Also included is an AC adapter, which is used in conjunction with the USB cable and the micro-USB adapter to charge this battery pack. The Colossal 18,200mAh Dual USB Travel Battery Charger outputs 5V and is able to recharge devices at speeds up to 2,000mAh per hour.

2 x USB Charging Ports
The 2.1A port is well suited for charging devices with larger battery capacities, such as tablets, while the 1A port is better suited for charging devices with smaller battery capacities, such as smartphones

    Wolverine Data COL18200 Reviews

Colossal 18,200mAh Dual USB Travel Battery Charger (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Battery Source I'm a combat photographer and I'm always looking for useful tools to enhance my workflow. Having a portable battery device able to charge any of my USB powered device/batteries is essential in staying equipped and ready-to-go at a moments notice. The case and power supply is fairly durable and holds an impressive 18,200mAh worth of extra juice. The only downside is the foot print, which I already knew prior to purchasing. It comfortable fits in any of my Lowepro series bags, or my combat load. The included adapter tips for a myriad of devices was a great addition to the overall package. The only accessory I'd recommend is a hard-shell case for transport if you don't want it getting dinged-up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty power This is a very powerful battery. Once you charge it, you can then charge other items many many times. I have charged my IPhone from 20% to 100% at least 8 times with plenty of power left. Easy to use. Display shows percent of power left. A little heavy but worth it. Like my wife??

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colossal Is Right It's big, it's heavy, and it works. 8-10 Full charges for my iPhone and even my Sony A7 Lithium batteries, make me a happy camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow My first use was a weekend out of town and I wanted to test it out. I decided that my family of four would use it to charge our phones the whole weekend. That's 4 smartphones and two teenage daughters! When I got home and looked at the charger it still had 72%!! That's amazing I bought it for my camping trips and I believe I will have no problems at all

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Charger great! Cables not. The charger is excellent. I charged my Galaxy 6 Edge with no problem. I camp and backpack quite often. This will keep me connected for quite a while. The downside is the cables are cheap and useless. I used one I had on hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from never be without power I sometimes go hiking, camping or on long excursions where I do not have access to an outlet. Though this charger is comparably large, I can easily put it in my camera bag and not be without power.

    question

Can this device 5v (usb) work simultaneously with the 8.4v DC output to charge/power up device without any drop in performance. With this certified, can i power the Tascam 60D mk II and Panasonic Fz1000 with this simultaneously?

    question

Can I use this to power my new Tascam DR-701D field recorder & if so, which output port do I use, the 1.2A or the 2.1 A? I don't understand the difference between those 2 ports. I can't find any info in the the DR701D reference or owner's manuals. Thanks
    Asked by: Stephen R.
My understanding is that if you double the output current at the same voltage you double the power output. So if you use 2.1A output you will charge your phone or other faster and discharge your battery faster. So if your device is fully discharge use 2.1A amp to recharge faster. If you need to add just some charging use 1.2A.
