    Vanguard VEO 37 reviews

VEO 37 Shoulder Bag is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from VEO 37 Shoulder Bag. by Vanguard It is a great bag for small excursions , the opening on the bottom of the bag is great for a small Tripod, or maybe an umbrella on a rainy day. The bag holds a DSLR & two lenses. Maybe in the future Vanguard will make a slightly larger bag with the same bottom opening for Air Travel so you don't have to check your equipment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would buy & recommend this bag again The bag is spacious. Easy to carry and access. I've not used it in a work situation yet, but it seems comfortable and easily carries the equipment I've tried. I know the included rain cover will come in handy sooner than later.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a little retooling I like this bag , it can carry a lot , and the insert which provides space for a tripod needs to be strengthened, it folds on one side, the bag begins to tilt. Correct that , Then I can raise my score.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It carries a tripod, but you have to leave the insert behind Bought this bag as an option for carrying a tripod. I like having the tripod in the bag; usually carry mine in a backpack. Wanted a messenger style bag for better handling in crowds. It does hold a tripod, and you can carry a camera and a couple of lenses on top of the tripod pocket. The tripod compartment is large for a travel tripod (my Sirui T-025x), but not long enough for my Promaster with Acratch GP by a couple of inches. In fact, it is large enough for two of the Sirui tripods (I put a T-025x and T-005x in the compartment. So it will hold some accessories, or a jacket and umbrella. It comes with a tripod bag, probably useful if you're going to stuff other items in the tripod compartment. The padded insert is odd; fills about 2/3 of the compartment when not configured for tripod, but doesn't fit in any way when configured for tripod. The dividers are limited; you get two the width of the insert, and two the width of the bag. The two wider ones don't have velcro in their middle, so you can't use the two from the insert running lengthwise. The two from the insert are cloth, and you can stick velcro to them anywhere, while the two for the bag are nylon with velcro hook strips on the end. If they were cloth like the insert, then you would have a lot more flexibility with the dividers. At any rate, only two dividers for a bag this size is just not enough. There is a small handle, and it is pretty small. I can barely get my hand in it. I would have liked it to be a bit bigger. The front pocket has minimal depth, so you won't be able to put much in it. It's also difficult to get into due to the flap over the zipper. The back pocket has less depth, and doesn't have a zipper. The side pocket also has little depth; you would think you could put a water bottle in it but when the bag is configured for tripod, there isn't enough room. So the bag is okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.
