What transformer is to be used with this speaker?
The Solid Drive SD1 is designed for 8 ohm applications. We do not carry transformers for these units. For 70v/100v systems please contact the manufacturer directly toll free 855.663.5600 or sales@mseaudio.com for support.

Is this speaker provided with the necessary transformer?
It is not included. To ensure optimal listening experience, the installer must equalize the SolidDrive SD1 System. Equalization is accomplished by using the SolidDrive Drywall Passive Equalization Module (sold separately).

do the speakers get glued to drywall?
This sound transducer is designed for mounting on drywall surfaces, and comes with a direct screw aluminum mounting base and an attached wiring harness with EuroStyle connector. This transducer can be installed in-wall and in-ceiling, and patent-pending acoustic in-wall mounting brackets are needed for installation (sold separately).
