Leapfrog A-01-74 Overview

Build your 3D prints as fast as 300 mm/s with the Creatr HS Dual Extruder 3D Printer from Leapfrog. The Creatr HS supports two-color and two-material printing up to a maximum size of 11.4 x 9.4 x 7.1". Using one extruder allows you to print even larger - 11.4 x 10.6 x 7.1". The heated build plate supports printing with both ABS and PLA filaments, as well as dissolvable plastic PVA, Nylon, Wood Plastic, and Brick Plastic. The Creatr HS can print at resolutions as fine as 20 microns for highly detailed results, or as coarse as 350 microns when great precision is not required.

The Creatr HS 3D Printer features a 4" full color LCD screen for navigation, and can print directly from USB. It ships with Simplify3D, a software suite that contains everything you need to begin printing on your Creatr HS. The printer and software are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Dual Extruders & Many Materials
Two nozzles on the Creatr HS allow you to not only print with two colors in over one hundred color combinations, but also enable you to print with more than one material at a time. A convenient use for this feature would be to print a complicated design with sturdy ABS filament, while using the second extruder to print supporting material in PLA or PVA plastics, which can then be dissolved for removal. Whereas breaking away ABS-printed support material would leave marks on your 3D prints, dissolving the supporting material will instead result in a smooth surface.
