Docking station review ++++

So far I've only used it once to check some SSD drives without having to install them. Worked as it should. Only one drive didn't work, but I believe its the drive that's bad. When I have the time I'll look at the SSD better. Otherwise it saved me hours of work checking the other drives and seeing whats on them..

6 months and running fine. Satisfied.

Very basic device. 100-240. Runs stable. No problems till now running simultaneously with 2 x 2.0TB WD SATA Blue. Fast data transfer with MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019. Need to buy an adaptor for the USB-C new type ports. I recommend.

Better than buying external drives

I use this to off transfer my older work photos from the server for final storage. It's just what I needed and I no longer need have to keep buying external drives. Just makes sense to no be storing away everything else that makes the drive work. This way I'm just using old drives pop it in make sure it's formatted and fill it up and pack it away. Easy!

question

Does this unit have a fan?SDOCK2U33
Asked by: joseph t.
HI Joseph, just saw this question . . . I own this and it doesn't have a fan. The drives can get a little warm, but I don't believe a fan is necessary, I've worked it pretty hard for the TV show raw footage.
