Lilliput's 663/O/P2 7" LCD On-Camera HDMI Monitor is an on-camera monitor offering 1280 x 800 resolution with 400 nit brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio. The monitor allows you to analyze focus, exposure, and other characteristics with False Color, Pixel-to-Pixel, and Histogram. It supports both NTSC and PAL compatible signals with HDMI, Component, and Composite inputs. This monitor also features an HDMI output, allowing you to feed the monitor and send the video signal along an HDMI infrastructure. It also features both a built-in speaker and headphone jack.

The four front panel buttons and four rotating knobs can be assigned to specific functions that allow you to call up often-used menu functions. You can power the monitor by using the included battery plates or the 4-pin XLR connector. The included 4-pin XLR power cable features a barrel connector and three pigtail cables for connecting to a tally system. The monitor features a tally indicator on the front of the monitor. An assortment of supplied accessories includes a Sony L-type and Canon LP-E6-type battery plates. The monitor incorporates a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole on the bottom and on each side, and the included sun hood attaches via hook and loop fastener to a removable sun hood attachment frame. A V-mount and Gold mount plate adapter allows you to mount optional V-mount or Gold mount battery plates.

Peaking
Peaking highlights the sharpest (most in focus) areas of the image with a color outline. The monitor features two modes, monochrome, and color. The monochrome mode shows the image in black and white with the red peaking outline, and the color peaking mode shows the image in color with a red peaking outline.
False Color
The False Color feature provides under/over luminance warning by presenting the image as a series of color values representing exposure.
Waveform
The waveform provides an objective evaluation of your video signal. It displays the brightness of your image on an IRE scale, allowing you to see if your image will clip, and where your black levels are.
Histogram
The Histogram provides a graphic depiction of how many pixels in your image are at each level between black and white. This provides you exposure information so you can objectively judge how much of your image is clipping, falling into the shadows, or being captured faithfully.
Vectorscope
The vectorscope displays the signal on a graph so you can check the phase of your colors. The vectorscope function also verifies and checks the overall tint and hue of an image.
1:1 Pixel Mode
1:1 pixel-to-pixel mapping allows you to look at parts of your image without any scaling, so you can see the actual detail and not be fooled by scaling artifacts.
H/V Delay
This mode allows you to see the video signal outside the active picture area. Settings include Off, H/V Delay, H Delay, and V Delay.
Underscan/Overscan
Allows you to display an image with lower resolution than the screen with either a black border around the image or fill the screen entirely.

    663/O/P2 7" LCD On-Camera HDMI Monitor is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Value I use this with my BMPCC and I can't think of a better value. Beautiful, clear picture and it comes with so many valuable itemslike a hard shell case, sun hood, AC Adapter and more. It does come with a ball-joint shoe mount, but that's the only negative thing about it. The mount was cheap and stripped itself out the first time I mounted it to the rig. Fortunately, I had no plans to use it permanently. I now use it with my Noga Cine Arm, and it absolutely amazing. What you get for the price is unbeatable, and the monitor itself is very high quality, durable and well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor I am very pleased with this monitor. At first when I ordered I was a little concerned how the build quality would be because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the monitor to see that it has excellent built quality. It has a little weight to it as well, which I personally like. Some of these lighter monitors I have worked with just don't hold up. My first use was on a 15 foot jib crane while filming a shoot in California. Everything worked exactly as it should. The sun hood also has excellent build quality. I like the fact that it is made of canvas and velcro, none of the snap on plastic junk that doesn't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor for budget users I've owned one of these monitors for several months now and now purchased a 2nd and 3rd to use in a studio with JVC cameras. The one I've had I use with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera in a studio and on location. It adds bulk, which if that's something that matters you may want to look at SmallHD. The other option would be using a monitor/recorder combo like the ones Atomos makes. I only needed a way to monitor my camera with the ability to check focus with peaking as well as see exposure with histogram and false color. This monitor has all those features that years ago weren't available for under $$or more. The only question is how accurate is the color of the LCD. I'll use it to check skin tones, but if McDonalds hires me to shoot a commercial I'm not going to rely on it to check the color of the golden arches. In the end, I would say this is a great monitor to use until you're ready to buy something from SmallHD or Atomos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good monitor for the money The monitor needed a bit more saturation, and the sharpness needed to be taken out, and the image looked very good hooked up to my s100. The 1280x720 is a good resolution for a 7 screen. I would recumbent this for inde film makers, and churches on a budget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised with the Quality I use this with a Sony PXW-X70 and it performs just great. I didn't even realize it came in such a nice hard case. Well built and more metal then I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value - easy to use While I have only had the unit for a week I have spent some with it and like it as much or more than I expected. Being able to use a Canon battery was a must for my purchase. The fact it will run off household power is also a great plus. The sun shade is easy to use and the Velcro is a nice touch as it will prevent damage to the unit and the shade by breaking away. I only plan to use for still photography and it works well in playback and or live mode. A nice little addition at a reasonable price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes Works well. A little slow to load still shots when using as alternative to camera LCD screen. Better use would be with video.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Monitor Solid metal construction, accurate picture, lots of battery power options, loaded with useful features.
