This thin and lightweight notebook is outfitted with a QHD+ display that supports a native resolution of 3200 x 1800. The display is built with an IGZO panel that offers you faster response times, better colors, and sharper images. Additionally, the 10-point touchscreen display lets you control the Windows 8.1 operating system and other programs without using the notebook's keyboard or trackpad. For short-term memory, this notebook comes with 16GB of DDR3L RAM and a 256GB SSD for quickly accessing and storing your data.

The notebook is powered by a quad-core 4th-gen Haswell 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor that can achieve speeds up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. It also has 802.11ac Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n backwards compatible), Bluetooth 4.0, three USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4a port, an integrated 2.0 megapixel webcam, and an array microphone. There are also built-in stereo speakers and free software via download.

The Intel Core i7 4720HQ processor, typically found in larger notebooks, provides the 14" Razer Blade with 2.6 GHz of quad-core processing power and Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz, to automatically increase the speed of active cores. Thanks to Hyper-Threading technology, you'll experience eight virtual cores for increased gaming performance.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
The GeForce GTX 970M with 3GB of VRAM is powered by the NVIDIA Maxwell architecture, which delivers quick performance, advanced graphics technologies, and improved power management. Now you can play your PC games with faster and smoother gameplay at ultra-settings. With NVIDIA Optimus Technology, the Razer Blade automatically transitions between NVIDIA graphics and Intel Integrated Graphics, seamlessly and in the background, to offer you performance and battery life when you need it.
RAM and SSD
The Razer Blade features 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L memory and includes a 256GB SSD for storing data. SSDs offer speeds up to 4x faster than traditional notebook hard drives, so you can boot quicker and launch games faster.
Touch Point Thermal Engineering
This notebook directs heat away from the main touch surfaces to areas that can dissipate heat quickly and that aren't often touched by the user. Razer engineers use thermal sensors to measure the temperature of a notebook's exterior surfaces under various workloads. This research results in a design that keeps heat away from key touch points so the notebook does not get uncomfortably hot even when pushing the i7 processor and NVIDIA GTX graphics to their limits.
QHD+ Display
The 3200 x 1800 resolution display pumps out 5.76 million pixels at 262 pixels per inch for clarity, sharpness, and color intensity. With so many pixels before your eyes, it becomes difficult to distinguish individual pixels.
IGZO Technology
The IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) display panel provides more colors and sharper image quality than a TFT panel. IGZO has a faster propagation time than traditional a-Si TFT displays, improving video response for smooth motion video and immersive gameplay.
Wide Viewing Angle
The Razer Blade features a wide viewing angle with a fast response time for smooth video and blur-free gaming. With a 350-nit brightness level from the LED backlight, the Razer Blade display is optimized for gaming wherever you go. The display delivers consistent and accurate color from a variety of vantage points. Colors are more saturated, accurate, and consistent across the whole screen.
Touchscreen Interface
The 10-point capacitive multi-touch screen works seamlessly with the touch interface in Windows 8, placing updates, apps, work, and play at your fingertips. Browsing, sorting through pictures, catching up with the latest news, trends, and social updates, or launching a game is a simple flick away for immediate and easy convenience.
Design
The Razer Blade is crafted from CNC aluminum and is 0.7" thin. Additionally, the 150-watt AC power supply has a dimension of 5.9" x 2.4" x 0.9".
Gaming Keyboard
The backlit anti-ghosting keyboard registers simultaneous key presses with precision. You can also personalize the keyboard by remapping the keys and creating macros.
Razer Software
Optimized for gaming, Razer does not load unnecessary bloatware and offers software to enhance your gaming experience. These software programs let you game lag-free, find other like-minded gamers, or capture and share your best gaming moments. Razer Synapse, Razer Comms, Razer Cortex, and Razer Surround are available free via download.
