What's the widest belt will this fit onto?
Asked by: Syed
Hi Syed.. Apologies for the delay (we had technical issues with this portal until today). Spider Monkey Clip was made to fit all regular style pants belts (1/8" thick) but will do with up to 1/4" thickness. Thank you, Spider Team

Will this work for regular non Photo belts? Can you clip it to pants waistband if no belt (i.e. tux or dress pants?)
Asked by: Jeffery
I shoot real estate and put the clip on the pocket of my shorts. It works great and makes for very easy and fast access to a speedlight. But, the edges are a bit sharp and will cut the fabric after a lot of use. (I might try a little electrical tape on the sharp edges to protect my shorts.) No belt is required for my purposes and it works very well.

Thank you all!.. The Spider Monkey clip will fit the 2 webbing of the belt well (it will not pull off as it catches from the bottom). Thank you,S

question

Haw big is it? What areSelect cameras?
Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim - thank you. We have the Large Rain Cover (able to accmmodate/cover a large DSLR with a 70-200mm/2.8 lens attached) for Pro cams/users. The Light Rain Cover is designed for the smaller setups (mirrorless camera with short/medium size lenses). If you want to carry a 70-200/2.8 lens on your Mirrorless (expample Sony), I suggest you pick up the large rain cover - that will ensure you accommodate the Pro size and length of that lens.We hope this helps,Thank you - Spider Team

question

I'd like to use this for a light meter that is wrapped in a leather case. How well do these stick to leather?
Asked by: Justin M.
Hi Justin,Thank you.. As you may know, leather comes in many variants (some not leather at all, some textured, some smooth) it would be impossible for us to vouch for this kind of connection.. The idea behind the Spider Monkey tabs is to attach directly to the object, (not it's case) and so to have a quick-action release and secure carry. We think that a light meter is a perfect product for the Spider Monkey Holster application?.. FYI - We will be releasing a Utility Pouch very soon (the tab is sewed onto the pouch) for quick release-and-attach via Spider Monkey - please register with us at spiderholster.com for updates! Many thanks ahead of time,Spider Holster Team

question

If you have a flash hanging off your belt or Spider Holster Pro and you crouch down and the flash presses against the top of your leg, will the clip come off your belt and the flash end up on the ground?
Asked by: Dean F.
No... The clip is actually locked by having the belt go through the clip and cannot come off.
