SureFire ARC2-8C HID Searchlight / Spotlight

SureFire puts the power of their iconic Hellfighter weaponlight in the palm of your hand with the invaluable and reliable ARC2-8C HID Searchlight/Spotlight. Outfitted with a filament-free High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamp that is virtually immune to failure from recoil, vibration, or impacts to produce 4,500 darkness piercing lumens of blinding light. Complementing the HID lamp is a finely polished mirror-finish reflector that produces a wide cone of peripheral light to maintain situational awareness and enhanced patrol or search efficiency. The light is equipped with a rechargeable li-ion battery that gives it a runtime of up to 80 minutes. Specialized circuitry digitally regulates the output to maintain consistent beam intensity throughout battery charge and integrated color-coded battery status indicators provide instant feedback for the light's available runtime.

Designed to withstand the rigors of combat and search & rescue operations, the light is made of a lightweight and aluminum alloy with a matte black Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized finish. The housing is O-ring and gasket sealed to make it waterproof and submersible to 3.3 feet. A 3mm thick tempered glass window protects the HID lamp and is anti-reflection coated to improve light transmission to ensure the brightest possible beam. Supporting its role as an indispensable tool in extreme situations, the reflector, lamp, and rechargeable battery unit are field-replaceable.
