Bresser's Polar Finder Scope is a useful accessory that speeds polar alignment by providing a means of visually aligning your Exos-1 German equatorial mount with Polaris and true north using a "reticle" that matches the star-field around the pole star. A properly aligned scope makes manually finding deep-sky objects much faster and easier, and allows for more precise tracking.

The finder scope inserts into the mount's port to properly orientate the axes of the scope with the North pole. Look through the scope and simply align the stars with the in-view star map and your mount is accurately aligned. The variable-intensity illuminated reticle is red to preserve night-adjusted vision and runs on two LR41 batteries

Polar Finder Scope for Exos-1 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from polar scope I purchased this polar scope. The etched design displayed in this ad is not what you will receive. Fore some reason they decided to only use the etched design shown in this ad for the Exos-1 mounts polar scope. This etched design allows you to triangulate on Polaris and 2 other stars. It is an excellent etched design, but you will not get this design with this polar scope. It also works on the Southern pole. But if you order this polar scope for the Exos-2 you will receive a simpler design of a line with a mark for polaris on the line. You will not be able to triangulate or use this in the southern pole. But it will work as a polar scope.
