Triad-Orbit T3C Reviews
works beyond awesome
I purchased the T3 stand without the caster from B&H and mounted huge monitor, IO-Desk as well as a very heavy and long boom arm and I am pleased with the product. There was a reviewer that gave it 1 star because they stated B&H misled customers. I did not run into that problem. If you look at the video on the B&H website (as well as on the Triad-Oribit) website, it clearly states that you need 3 pieces of hardware to mount a monitor to a T3 stand. It's a bit expensive but for me there is nothing like it on the market. The problem with Triad-Orbit's website and videos as well as with many companies, they let the marketing folks present the material. Videos are idiotic - and frankly, marketing people are not the brightest people in the world - right? You have to do your research and read between the lines and ignore the marketing hype.
Just not suitable for it's intended purpose
Really surpised at BHPhoto for this as someone clearly dropped the ball. The only way you can mount a monitor to this stand is horizontally with the screen facing upwards. They cleary didn't realize that you need aTriad-OrbitOA Orbit Arm in addition to make this work. That's an extra $84. At the price you could just buy the stand and the Vesa mount separately for exactly the same amount so this is not a 'kit' worth buying.
