The coiled, 3' PocketWizard MM3 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS Flash Sync Cable allows remote triggering of flash units with a 1/8" sync outlet using a PocketWizard Plus III or PlusX transceiver only.
The MM3 cannot be used to trigger an AlienBees flash from a FlexTT5/FlexTT6, MultiMAX, or Plus II. Use the PocketWizard MM1 cable instead.

This cable is ONLY compatible with PlusIII or PlusX triggers only. So if you have anything else you’re out of luck. There needs to be more transparency with that kind of thing versus finding out once you open it.
