A dedicated booklet for recording all of the pertinent data when working with film, this Analogbook Medium Format Notebook is a sleek means for noting and organizing exposure and shooting information. Created for photographers working with medium format 120 roll film, this customized 64-page notebook contains 15 rolls worth of templates for jotting shooting data frame-by-frame and roll-by-roll. In addition to the templated pages, the notebook also includes several pages of blank paper for making additional notes, drawings, or diagrams, and the interior covers are lined with useful photographic tips, charts, and tables for easy reference.

The notebook's 3.8 x 5.5" dimensions make it a convenient size for carrying in your pocket or camera bag, or storing in 4 x 5" film archival sleeves for safe storage. Each booklet is printed using vegetable-based inks on 100% recycled paper, and the back cover serves double-duty as an 18% reflectance gray card for exposure metering.

Dedicated notebook for recording exposure information, as well as camera, lens, weather, and other data, to aid during the processing of the film or for learning and refining one's process.
This notebook is specifically designed for medium format 120 roll film photographers, and contains enough templates to record data for 15 rolls of film.
Each templated page has been customized to suit the format and to allow you to accurately record your photographic process frame-by-frame.
The interior covers include helpful photographic tips, charts, and tables for reference, with room for you to add your own personal hints or reminders.
The notebook measures 3.8 x 5.5", making it well-suited for carrying in a pocket or bag while shooting and for storing in standard-sized 4 x 5" film sleeves once filled up.
The back cover doubles as an 18% reflectance gray card to aid in accurate exposure metering.
Beyond the templated pages, several blank pages are also included for additional notes, diagrams, or drawings.
Using a sustainable printing process, the notebook is printed using vegetable-based inks on 100% recycled paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes shooting film easy!!! I purchased this item on a whim, because it seemed like a 'neat idea'...little did I know that this would change how I shoot and process my film! By having fields for the project, film type, camera settings, filter/lighting scenarios, and even a built in zone-system scale and grey card I now am truly logging every shot I take with complete accuracy and using my film backs (on a Mamiya RZ67) for N+/- development instead of letting them collect dust. About the only improvement I can think of for this product is to make the covers wax-coated or laminated so as to be water resistant....that would increase the cost however, and therefore it's not a serious request more of a 'wish list'. GREAT product, i cannot recommend this highly enough for serious film shooters that are developing their own film and really want to control and document the process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great notebook! This is a useful, pocket-sized notebook specifically designed for medium format film. It is a great way to keep track of your shots and has really helped me improve quickly because I can see what I did and tweak each succeeding shot. There aren't many options on the market and in my mind this is the best one available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will be using these notebooks from now on. I have a Pentax 645 NII and a Pentax 67. These notebooks are perfect for recording the settings for all my exposures. The return to film photography has been a great experience and the notebooks make my understanding of all my exposures much easier. A great reference for future photo sessions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really great for the analog experience After trying multiple apps to keep track of my film shots, I discovered that nothing really rounds out the analog experience like pen to paper. Handles fountain pen in pretty well. You'll see a tiny bit of ghosting on the backs of some pages but nothing really bleeds through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun easy way to track my film exposures Great way to keep track of my film shots while on the go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice book for keeping track of shooting film This book is pretty good for keeping track of the settings and exposure times for film. The interior writing has enough contrast to be able to be seen when out shooting, however, I found the small size of the book limiting and was expecting it to be a little larger than it is.
