Air 1 Commander for Nikon Cameras is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Consistent exposures, seems to be good quality I use Nikon Speedlights with the Nissin Air 1 and Air R Receivers. I'm new to the product so I don't know how they hold up. Only time will tell. There is a pairing process to follow that is not required with other flash triggers I've used. I paired two speedlights and they both fire from the camera. Initially, I had dark exposures. However, after more testing I conclude that the exposures are very consistent which is good. In comparison, Yongnuo units were not consistent and were returned. Controls are easy to use. Build quality is good and the commander and receivers are fairly small. I think it's a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Simple to set up. I have 3 Nissin flashes made for the Sony Alpha line as I have both a Nikon and a Sony camera. This commander triggers my Nissin Sony flashes from my Nikon D7100. I am a very happy camper!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Update to my prior review I wrote a prior review that was negative. However, I got immediate and very helpful technical support from Nissin's USA Distributor and found that I may not have been correctly pairing the Nikon flashes with the Air 1 controller. The Nissin instructions do not state that you should have the controller off-camera when you initially pair Nikon flashes. After pairing them again I now seem to be getting consistent exposures. Other than that initial problem which should be resolved I am very impressed with the units.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent exposures with Nikon Speedlights I am really disappointed with the Air 1 commander and the Air R receiver. I hope to use these with my Nikon SB 700, 800 and 600, however, I find the exposure to be unacceptable. Some shots are ok, others are way over or under exposed. The pairing and set up was easy and I was excited when I remotely trigger my flashes, but the exposure was so terrible that I will return the set.
