Boris FX Transfer Suite consists of the Transfer AE and Transfer FCP plug-ins. Transfer FCP provides a set of two Final Cut Pro 7 plug-ins for transferring sequences between Final Cut and Avid Media Composer. One of the plug-ins exports Avid-compatible AAF format files from Final Cut to Avid, and the other imports AAF format files from Avid to Final Cut. Using Transfer FCP, Final Cut and Avid editors can exchange projects that include transitions, effects, image and time warps, 3rd-party effects, and keyframes. Avid's AMA architecture gives Avid users direct access to many popular QuickTime formats while Final Cut users can access Avid MXF files using Calibrated Software's Calibrated{Q} MXF Import for OS X. Transfer FCP supports online and offline workflows.

Media Elements Preserved During Transfer

Expanded Import Options
Import options include the ability to import or ignore audio tracks and the ability to pre-compose all video and/or audio tracks during import.
Familiar Look and Feel
Translated After Effects projects will look very familiar to Avid or Final Cut Pro editors. User marks, comments and labels for clips and sequences, and all user-defined names are carried across from Avid or Final Cut Pro to After Effects.

Avid Multi-Platform Support
Transfer FCP supports Avid Media Composer, Symphony, NewsCutter, and DS. It's capable of exchanging live program sequences between Final Cut Pro and Avid with media, markers, cuts, dissolves, filters, and audio preserved.
Boris Continuum Complete Compatibility
Transfer Boris FX Continuum Complete filters and transitions that were applied to clips while retaining all of the keyframed changes. The Continuum Complete filters are seamlessly transferred as long as the corresponding BCC filter or transition effect is present in the host application where the transferred sequence is opened.

Preserve transfer modes between Final Cut Pro and Avid editing and finishing systems that include the Continuum Complete Composite filter.
