The S-8D58 43Wh Battery from SWIT is a Panasonic VW-VBD58-type battery. It is compatible with Panasonic cameras like the AU-EVA1, AG-DVX200, and AJ-PX270. The S-8D58 battery features a 5.5/2.1mm DC barrel output at 7.2 VDC (nominal). Use the barrel port to power an on-camera LED light, monitor, or wireless transmitter. It also features a 5V/1A USB Type-A port that can be used for charging a cell phone or another device.

Compatibility
Use this battery to power Panasonic VW-VBD-series type cameras and devices including:

Charging
The S-8D58 can be charged in about 4 hours using Panasonic's original DE-A88 charger or SWIT's S-3602D dual charger. This battery can also be charged in about 7 hours using SWIT's S-3010D portable pole-tap charger.

Causes horrible problem with OIS on Panasonic HC-X2

Perhaps I got a defective battery, but when I connect this battery to my HC-X2 and enable OIS, the image turns to unusable jello. It took me weeks of talking to Panasonic directly to figure out the problem was the battery. Sure enough, when swapping out to the stock OEM battery that came with the camera, there is no issue at all. Switch back to this battery, completely unusable image. Even stranger is the problem only occurs in 30p and 60p, not 24p, 25p, or 50p. The only theory myself and Panasonic have is that this battery must output some slightly-off electric frequency that interferes with the internals of the camera itself. Lesson learned, money lost, only OEM batteries for me from now on.

Another great battery from Swit. But keep in mind Panasonic put a battery cover on the ag-dvx200, making it pretty impractical to use the additional outputs on this battery.

No it will not. In addition to having the proper connections the batteries must also be able to communicate with the camera, and unfortunately sometimes this communication between third party branded batteries can get messed up when a firmware update is released for the camera, making the third party brand non compatible. I cannot say that is the exact reason your SWIT S-8D58 43Wh Battery for Panasonic VW-VBD Series may not work but it could be one of the causes.
