The CLA-3A from Waves is a plug-in modeled after a famous early 70's solid-state compressor that was originally known for its unique and highly transparent compression curve. Features of the original included a quick response and the subtle harmonic distortion, both of which are faithfully recreated in the software version. The plug-in is especially useful on bass, as well as on guitars and vocals.
