Z-Noise from Waves is a broadband noise processor ideal for removal of tape hiss, ground hum and computer noise. The software can remove both high frequency and low frequency problems simultaneously without adversely affecting the source material.
The plug-in features a familiar five-band EQ interface and an "Extract" mode which can create a noise profile from sources that contain signal, as well as a flexible "Adaptive" mode. Real-time operation means parameters can be fine tuned and changes heard as they are made.
Monitoring provides a choice of either listening to the audio after Z-Noise processing or the noise being removed. A choice can also be made between increased frequency resolution or improved time resolution, or a combination of the two.
5-Band noise profile EQ
Enhanced low-frequency resolution and time sensitivity
Extract mode creates noise profile from sources containing signal and noise
Adaptive dynamic detection for noise that changes over time
Up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution
Mono and stereo components
SoundGrid license compatible with MultiRack Native and StudioRack Native only
