LensCoat Camera/Binoculars Harness Reviews

Don't buy!

Have had a harness for my binoculars for years. Ordered this one for my camera and it is so inferior it is unusable. It is way too elastic. The weight of my Canon R5 causes it to streeeeeetch so the camera rides way down on my body and bounces. Just bought a Vortex and it is MUCH better.

Better than I expected

I bought both this and the OP/TECH USA Bino/Cam Harness Binocular or Camera Strap (Webbing Version) for two pairs of binoculars, a heavy Leica 8x40 and a light Nikon 8x20. I do some rigorous hiking and I didn't want my glass bobbing around like a berserk chicken so I specifically chose the webbing version, not the elastic. Both of these two models are very similar and are MUCH more heavy duty than I expected for the price, with good quality straps and heavy clips. I like the clip feature that allows you to easily remove them from the binocs. Two caveats: the connector webbing is just fat enough to make it tough to thread into the binocular connectors but with some effort I got them set up; fat is good -- I don't expect these to break. Second, I'm only 5'6 and I might have to shorten the straps to get a tighter fit (which would take cutting, sealing, re-sewing) but so far I'm using them as is and happy.

Is it possible/easy to attach a pair of peak design anchor links to the harness? I have peak design anchors on my cameras.
Asked by: Mark
No, it would not be possible to use the Peak Design AL-4 Anchor Links with the LensCoat Camera/Binoculars Harness (Webbing Version) B&H # LELCBCHW. There is no way to mount the anchor link receiver onto the straps.

Where can I find the camera clip accessories for the LensCoat Camera/Binoculars Harness (Elastic Version)? I need to be able to attach my Nikon to the harness, but I see no accessories listed on your website.

The attachments for the camera are included with the harness. They are the same attachments that would be used with binoculars. There is nothing extra needed to buy with this strap as well as most other straps.
