Palmer PAN03PASS Overview

This Palmer PAN 03 19" Passive Four-Channel DI Box has a jack input with a parallel output on each channel for passing the signal through. A -30 dB attenuation switch allows connection to either a line or loudspeaker signal. This passive 4 x DI box has a 19" format, and the technical specifications identical to those of the PAN-02. All connections and switches are located on the front panel, and an additional parallel XLR output is located in the back. The box is built in 19" rack-mount format, with one rack-space of 3.5" (90mm) front to back.

The web site says,"the XLR output is additionally present as a parallel socket on the rear panel." Could the dual XLR, since it has a parallel connection, be used as a through where you plug a mic or drum out XLR (with adapter) in the front and it will come out the back to the BOH soundboard?

It's a Direct Box. You put an 1/4" unbalanced signal in an get 2 XLR balanced outputs back.
