Carson Microbrite Plus Reviews

What They Don'tTell You

Does this Magnify - Yes. Does the Led light work good - Yes, Is it inexpensive - Yes. What they don't tell you & what no one in the reviews I watched mentioned is that the image in the view finder is Upside down & Backwards. & that's how they make it so cheap. They don't put the lenses in to refract it properly for your eye making it very frustrating to use & started to give give me a headache after a bit. Whatever way you move the lens it looks like it's moving the opposite direction both up & down , & left to right. Unless you're going to use it without moving it it will probably work for you. But - ( sliding along a Knife's edge ) is hard to do and gave me a headache after a bit. So just a heads up. Think about how you plan on using it.

Definitely get a bang for your buck with this microscope! Really powerful, clear images, and easy to travel with. Just wish there was a travel cover to prevent dust and dirt from getting on the lens.

At the highest magnification, (1) what is the size of the region that can be viewed? and (2) how far away from the object must the scope be?
Asked by: Suresh
The magnifier is designed to be placed on the surface of the item or a table. The area covered is not specified but you can see by the size of the plastic guides its about one square inch. Here is a link to the manual for more information: http://www.lamp-magnifier.com/guides/MM-300-Guide_EN.pdf
