Characterized by its swirly bokeh and sharp central focus, the brass Petzval 85mm f/2.2 Lens from Lomography for Nikon F-mount cameras is an updated design of the first Petzval lens from 1840. Sharing much of the distinct image quality from the classic optic, as well as the unique brass exterior, this version has been updated for use on modern DSLRs and film SLRs and features Russian multi-coated glass to deliver a high degree of sharpness, contrast, and color saturation while maintaining the unique field curvature, vignetting, and shallow depth of field of the original lens.
