Aquatica 77553 Overview

Attach a lighting arm to your underwater housing tray's grip handle with this 1.0" Delta 3 Ball Mount to Flat Plate from Aquatica's Technical Lighting Control series. It features a standard 1.0" ball mount with an O-ring, allowing for connection to optional arm components via ball-joint clamps. The O-ring prevents slipping and enables a better hold with less force when the ball is connected to a ball clamp.

At the other end of the unit is a flat plate for attachment to grips with 1/4"-20 holes, which are standard on Aquatica handles. The required mounting screws and a hexagonal wrench are included. Built to last, the ball mount is made from aluminum that has been hard anodized and treated with Teflon for resistance to corrosion and other wear and tear.

This was prefect for me. The open screw slots allow some adjustment on positioning between holes on my cheese plate. I like that the ball sits a little higher, allows a little bit more variation on angles of the attached arm.
