The Rackworks 3 RU Lockable Rack Drawer from Gator Cases is a 14.2" deep fully enclosed drawer that can be installed in a 3 RU rack space. The drawer is fashioned from 16-gauge steel and sports a black powder-coated finish. Two 2" rubber grommets are featured for rear access, and the included lock and key can be used to safeguard the drawer's contents. I like the design of the handle; and locking piece works well. Lock and key are an added bonus. 3ru is a good size for Clearcom packs and headsets.

Is the weight really 24 lbs? I'm hoping its a specs misprint.

It is most certainly a misprint since the actual packaged/shipping weight is 23 lbs. Unfortunately Gator doesn't publish the actual weight. Judging by the weight of other similar 3U drawers, it should be around 17-20 lbs +/-
