These rack ears are very well made from steel. You can lean on the console, mount it lower to protect the controls. I paid 40 on sale which is a fair price. The ears could be made but not easily. Comes with correct length screws so you won't damage the mixer with over length screws.

The mounting ears themselves are good quality. However they did not ship the necessary screws the Mackie 1402 VLZ4. I am still waiting on the screws.
