Lunt Solar Systems 50mm Ha Objective / 6mm Blocking 2" Star Diagonal Eyepiece Solar Filter Kit

Lunt Solar Systems' Solar Filter Kit gives users an objective lens hydrogen-alpha filter and a 6mm blocking eyepiece filter for observing the Sun's surface and edge. The Ha filter attaches to the front objective of a user-supplied 50mm refractor telescope to provide unobstructed <0.70 Angstrom filtration. It mounts to the front of the optical tube assembly (OTA) using a telescope-specific adapter that is sold separately. This filter must be used with the eyepiece blocking filter, and another HA filter may be threaded on it to double-stack for a <0.5 Angstrom bandpass. It comes with an aluminum foam-lined hard carrying case for safe and secure transportation and storage. The 6mm aperture blocking eyepiece filter is recommended for use on optical tube assemblies (OTAs) with a focal length of up to 600mm for visual observation or 400mm for astro-imaging. The star diagonal viewing configuration filter fits into 2" focusers, and accepts any user-supplied 1.25" eyepieces and accessories.
