With the XC10 4K Camcorder from Canon, professional Ultra HD 4K recording capability is presented in a package ergonomically designed for handheld operation and portability. The camera incorporates a 10x f/2.8 to 5.6 SLR-style manual zoom lens with auto and manual focus capability. The 4K recording in a compact form factor is made possible by the camera's 1" CMOS sensor that is backed by a DIGIC DV 5 image processor. With a 4224 x 3164 total resolution, it can capture video at up to 3840 x 2160 and 4:3 photos in up to 12MP (4000 x 3000). The 8.9 to 89mm lens yields a 35mm equivalent focal length of 27.3 to 273mm in video mode, and 24.1 to 241mm in the 4:3 photo modes. Video is recorded with H.264 compression and packed in the widely supported MXF wrapper. Bit rates of 35 and 50 Mb/s are available for 1080i/p recording, and there are 205 and 305 Mb/s modes (depending on frame rate) for UHD 4K.

Will this match the Canon C200 well enough to work as a b-camera for events and interviews e.g. using this as a cutaway camera to cover jump cuts or when reframing/adjusting the C200 during a live presentation? Looking for a second camera for this purpose that won't require a lot of color correction to match the C200. Thanks!
Asked by: Gregory
While you still may need to do some adjusting to the settings internally and in post product, yes this would make a great B-Cam to the C200. The XC10 is designed with that very purpose in mind, being an easy to use B-Camera to go along with the C Series of Cinema Cameras.

hi I'm looking for an xc10 lens canon because it is damaged and gives the file error with you can talk about this problem thank you
Asked by: Jani
I don’t know if o understand the question clearly. Is the camera itself damaged? The lens does not come off on the xc10 model. That’s a canon customer support help. If the lens is messing up causing file damage or unable to save that too sounds like a canon customer support call. Good luck

Can it be used for live streaming and if so, at 1080p and/or 4K?
Asked by: Guy
The XC10 has a clean HDMI output which sends out an HD or 4K signal. You could connect that to a capture device for streaming. At this time 4K streaming is still not very popular, so we'd suggest using an HD capture device like the Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2, B&H # MA32060. https://bhpho.to/2n9v5B3
