Engineered for your dreams of intergalactic space travel, the Hasselblad Lunar is built to remind you of your terrestrial origins, yet invoke a sense of the cosmos to come. Finished with a firm, textured Italian black leather grip and adorned with ruby-embellished control dials, the Lunar's artisanal quality pairs with titanium mechanical controls, a carbon fiber shell, and a physical vapor deposition coating. This melding of time-honored craftsmanship and futuristic intent recall the earliest missions to space, where the original Hasselblad 500C became the first camera to enter outer space. Employing luxurious Italian design with Swedish ingenuity, the Lunar is a proud object not just capable of producing other-worldly imagery, but also serving as a multi-generational symbol of the past, present, and future.

question

I am using an a6000 in place of my full sized camera since my becoming handicapped. I like it but would like better. I understand the beautiful Hasselblad is a Swedish made NEX 7. Would I be stepping down by switching to the Hasselblad?
Asked by: M Edward
If you are coming from the A6000, main step down will be the menu layout of the Lunar/NEX-7. It's long scrolling instead of being divided up in tabs like your A6000. The EVF on the Lunar (2.3 million) is actually better than the newer A6000 (1.4 million).

question

I have several Sigma lenses with Canon mounts. Is there an adapter that would accept by sigma/canon lenses and still let me have all the functionality of my lenses ... ie, f Stop, AF, and continuous AF?
Asked by: Dennis
I don't have sigma lens. I believe your canon mounts won't work for this pretty much a Sony camera. You can buy Sony e-mount adaptor for your sigma lens.

question

I looking forward to get this camera. My question is about lenses. May I use the lenses from Hasselblad Xpan? Do I need adapter for those lenses?
Asked by: Vitor
The Lunar uses the Sony E-Mount. The camera is basically a (nicely) repackaged Sony NEX-7. You'll need an adapter.

question

Is this a Grey Market camera ?
Asked by: Anonymous
It is. Inthought i was buying a hasselblet, and when i had trouble downloading the images to photoshop, I enter one of the support groups of photoshop and a very kind man helped me with my problem, and this is how i find out it is not really a hasselblet but a sony camera. Which was a great dissapointment for me. I does work ok, nothing spectacular, i manage to download the upgrades so i could download the imagges to photoshop directly without having to use light room which I never liked. Once i chatted with one of the guys of the store asking for a longer lense and the one suggested was a sonny mount. So definitely eas not worth the money, any of my canon cameras does a netter job
