Does the HD550 really support 4K video as noted in your specs? LiveStream website does not mention 4K support.
It is our understanding the software supplied can handle 4K but not with the hardware supplied. So if you supply 4K hardware, the Livestream software will handle it.

Would I be able to plug these two lav mics (Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Dual Wireless Basic Kit) directly in via the two XLR inputs and then just do the mixing via the studio software or would I need a field mixer to power the receivers before going into the Livestream unit? Thanks!
Very important: The two XLR's can only handle mic level input. Not line level. In other words, you cannot do the audio mix on your board and run a line level cable to the HD550 XLR ports. If you try, the audio will be terribly overdriven.

Lifestream Studio can stream to other platforms such as YouTube Live, Ustream or to a content delivery network such as Akamai or Use the built-in encoder to stream to any server, CDN or service supporting RTMP (including Original Livestream, YouTube Live, Ustream, Akamai, Wowza Media Server)
