It is also positioned to offer a differentiator for Alienware gaming systems and offers laser movement detection technology, a movement resolution of 5,000 dpi with on-the-fly DPI switching, and 9 buttons.
The Alienware TactX has a CI (Control Interface) that allows you to setup, customize, and save macros to the mouse's on-board memory for true plug-and-play performance. The mouse also features a dual mode scroll wheel with hyper-fast scrolling that operates in horizontal and vertical modes which are toggled using the toggle switch. It also allows you to store up to 5 profiles of mouse settings in its on-board memory. You can switch between profiles using the Profile Selection button located on the bottom of the mouse.
In addition, the AlienFX feature allows you to customize your Alienware TactX Mouse with an array of lighting themes including a variety of colors and effects. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems and is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
