Intended for use with electric guitars, electric keyboards, or any instrument with a Hi-Z output, the Memory Toy Pedal from Electro-Harmonix is a stompbox designed to provide 30 to 550 ms of analog delay. Its feedback knob allows you to increase the number of repeats, a high instantiation of which will cause the signal to self-oscillate in ways suitable for experimentation; indeed, at high settings, you can even achieve a reverb-type effect.
For further signal manipulation, a Mod switch enables variance on the delay time in a manner similar to the chorus modulation of Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man. Lastly, a blend knob offers you the ability to mix your echoed signal in with your original dry signal, while its footswitch provides you true bypass.
