The RTG Pedal from Electro-Harmonix is a random tone generator synthesizer. This generator is a recreation of the older model EH1300 RTG with some modern enhancements: status LED, footswitch to engage/disengage the output, and it comes in a nano sized enclosure. The randomly-produced tones range over six octaves between 20 Hz and 1 kHz.
Rate knob controls the speed at which the tones are generated
Glide switch adds portamento or a glide between pitches
Input/output is simple with just a 1/4" output jack
A footswitch turns the RTG on or off and an indicator LED alerts the user to its status
