The Ronin-M 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer from DJI is a camera stabilization system designed to give the operator close to the freedom of unencumbered handheld shooting but without the hand-shake. Suitable for most camera types and configurations up to 8 pounds, the Ronin-M uses brushless motors that work on three axes: one for side-to-side "roll" (keeping the horizon level), one for tilt, and one for pan. The system is computer-controlled and features a tilt range of 105° up / 165° down plus a roll range of ±110°. Furthermore, the system boasts a precision of control of ±0.02°, enabling precise camera moves and stability correction against even very fine movements. In addition to handheld shooting, the gimbal can be used in vehicle mounting scenarios and other contexts where vibrations or other abrupt movements would make tripods and rigid camera support systems unsuitable.

question
Can this fit a Canon C300? Also what do you need to mount a Monitor on top?
The ronin-m can carry a canon c300. But you have to buy extension rods that lower the cg of the camera. I cary a red epic dragon with canon is24mm lens all the time. And i fly that rig on a drone. It can carry bigger cinema cameras assuming you keep the weight under the 8lb limit. You just have to buy extra parts to make it work.

question
there will be Tool-Less Balance Adjustment System in the box with Ronin-M? Or there is no need that tool because of no case?
They mean there are thumb screws. It means basically you don't need an allen wrench...which isn't entirely true. You need to adjust the tension of the thumb screws from time to time.

Can I mount the RED dragon or ARRI Alexa SXT???
Can I mount the RED dragon or ARRI Alexa SXT???
This gimbal has an 8 Pound Load Capacity. It may be able to handle a cinema camera, if it is stripped down quite a bit. We would not recommend it for a RED or Arri. Instead you could look at the MOZA Pro 3-Axis Gimbal B&H # MOMP3AG, which has a 22 pound load capacity and is designed to handle such cameras.

question
Can this be used with the BMCC and the BMPC 4K cameras?
At this time, we are not recommending any camera larger than a DSLR for the DJI Ronin-M. With these devices, it is not just the weight but the mass as well. The strength of the motors must be considered in handling the camera/lens balance.

question
I know that the BMPCC w/Metabones Speedbooster and Simga 18-35mm lens are within the weight limit (under 3lbs) for the Ronin M, but I'm wondering if the length or balance of this combination will present problems?
Without testing it is not possible to say for sure. However, the Ronin M is made with small mirrorless and DSLR cameras in mind. The BMPCC is very small and while the Sigma 18-35mm is long, it is very light. Therefore, it is my opinion the Ronin M probably will be able to fly such a camera/lens.

question
But will the FS5 work with this gimbal??
I've used it with the FS5 successfully, but the handle, monitor, and handgrip have to be removed.

This works with a Nikon d5300?
This works with a Nikon d5300?
Yes it does. You will be able to use a DSLR like the Nikon D5300 on the Ronin-M.

does it work with canon xf 400?
does it work with canon xf 400?
I have just tested this combination. Yes, with the camera's top handle removed, the Canon XF400 fits and balances on the Ronin-M with full range of mobility. With the handle attached, there is just barely enough room, but only because the upward tilt of the stabilizer stops at about 45 degrees. In any case, it is better to remove the handle to save weight, which will improve the responsiveness of the motors and the battery life. I should probably mention that there is no way to open the camera's LCD panel while it is mounted in the stabilizer. If you want the view the LCD from the side, be sure to flip it open before mounting it in the stabilizer. If you want to use the IR remote, you will need to have the LCD facing out, since it has the remote sensor on it. Controlling the camera via Wi-Fi is probably easier once you get it set up.
